Key style pieces of Kate Middleton

The official engagement of Prince William and Kate Middleton was finally confirmed and as it usually happens the tabloids are filled with stories of how they met, what they like doing, where they hang out… and most importantly everyone is speculating what will Kate wear on the day. I wish them all the best but thought I would have a quick look at Kate’s style.

Even though that for official engagements she wears rather classic pieces such as a classy dress with a very elegant overcoat which she usually pairs with a fancy hat.

  

I’m glad that she likes to dress down on her everyday. She seems to love her fitted straight leg jeans which she usually pairs with either black suede or tan leather knee length boots and a fitted blazer.

   

 

She also favours floral dresses, that are knee lenght, floaty and so romantically chic. She pairs them with flats, peep toe wedges and a cardigan for a very soft feminine look. Its such a very classic and sophisticated look that doesn’t rock the boat but makes her look attractive as she has an ideal figure for this kind of look.

For the evening, Kate likes to wear bold coloured dresses for the big evenings she likes to wear floor length especially from Issa

 

Kate also appears to like a nicely fitting blazer or a jacket that she puts together with her dresses for official engagements. Hat is a must with this look.

In 2008, when Kate and William decided to go seperate ways, Kate appeared to go out partying with her friends and was seen leaving clubs late and we all got to admire those sexy legs

 

I can;t even begin to imagine how much pressure it must be to always look immaculate but sometimes she does appear to try a bit too hard and go overboard with the whole ‘mature look’ that makes her look so much older than she really is. Here is a few looks that I wasn’t so sure about…

This is everyone has been talking about for the past couple of months and I need to admit that I too just cannot wait until the new H&M for Lanvin collection comes out on 23 November. Unfortunately these clothes will only be available in certain shops which means that I will heavily rely on the internet to purchase my favourite pieces… fingers crossed though!
